We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for the fast paced wholesale petroleum industry. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maximizing Anabi Oil's market share, profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction within a defined set of accounts. The Sales Representative will maintain customer relationships and technical fulfillment of products and services by executing strategies for growth, customer retention, competitive displacement and customer satisfaction within assigned accounts. The Sales Representative will partner with other sales team members to maintain and grow market share through the development of new account relationships. This person will be responsible for lead generation and telemarketing.

Our ideal candidate will have the drive to pick up the phone every day to make new appointments and solicit new business while continuing to provide the best service to our customers.

  • Promotes sales and provides account service to assigned and potential customers
  • Focuses on sales quota, new business development & maintaining customer relationships
  • Contacts existing accounts and cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets
  • Responsible for securing new business
  • Supports and implements marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
  • Secures long term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
  • Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up
  • Maintain list of target accounts by generates and qualifying new business leads
  • Conducts competitive intelligence
  • Demonstrates products to new account customers
  • Maintain and build customer relationships, calling on all customers within a defined territory
  • Maintain communications with management, co-workers, and marketing regarding new equipment, equipment availability and customer activity levels.
  • Develop new accounts and maintain accounts from previous year
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
  • College degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • Prefer 5-7 years Outside Sales experience. Minimum of one year previous sales management experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving history
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications and effective customer relations skills
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. Also required to spend long hours in vehicle, traveling to and from customer locations throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work a rotating on call schedule that requires the individual to be available 7 days a week, after hours, weekends and holidays according to the schedule in conjunction with the dispatch group
